Zalkin's customers , from the smallest company in their local market to global leaders, deliver quality products in industries as varied as soft drinks, wines and spirits, dairy, food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and household products.
Zalkin solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of each customer, regardless of their market. Special machines, and more broadly the solutions offered by Zalkin, range from cap dispensing, quality control, and processing to capping—namely, capping, screwing, and crimping—on all types of containers at speeds ranging from 800 to 120,000 caps per hour!
Innovation at the heart of the Zalkin story
In recent years, to better meet customer expectations, Zalkin has focused on the quality and cleanliness of its caps, developing new quality control and cap inspection modules and pre-capping dust removal systems. The Zalkin system eliminates 99.9% of microparticles from water bottle caps.
Zalkin never rests on its laurels and devotes significant resources to research and development and innovation in order to regularly meet new capping challenges such as recently with the secure cap (cap attached to the bottle for better environmental protection) or the automated robot management of caps/dosing pumps for the cosmetics industry and spray guns for household products.
Zalkin is resolutely future-oriented and is now working on connected machines and Industry 4.0 solutions.
Zalkin at the heart of environmental concerns
Zalkin has been strongly committed to its beverage industry customers and partners for several years, particularly with its bottle-attached cap, also known as the "bonded cap." Indeed, well before the implementation of the European SUP directive on single-use plastics, Zalkin invested in technologies enabling optimal capping of these new bonded caps. This involves co-development with cap manufacturers and major beverage brands (such as the Sources Alma group for still and sparkling water). Zalkin continues to expand its expertise and collaborates with key players in other industries, such as dairy and juices.
Zalkin machines have always been renowned for their robustness. Since 2021, Zalkin has taken this approach a step further with a program of "refurbished machines".
It allows Zalkin customers to both contribute to the circular economy by reducing their carbon footprint and optimize their investments by purchasing refurbished machines brought up to standard by Zalkin.
Its eco-responsible commitment is also demonstrated by the design of less energy-intensive capsule distribution equipment or optimized consumption on existing equipment.
