Zalkin designs, manufactures, and commissions capping and sealing machines and lines for bottles and containers. Its offering covers the entire capping process: distribution, sorting and orientation, quality control, lifting and conveying, then screwing, crimping, and pressure capping, on all types of containers, at speeds of 800 to 100,000 caps per hour. Its machines process both plastic and aluminum, on both plastic and glass containers.

Founded in 1932 by André Zalkin, this French family business began as a Parisian machine shop before shifting its focus to automatic capping in the 1960s and establishing itself in Montreuil-l'Argillé, Normandy. Now a world leader in closures, it has been a subsidiary of the American group ProMach since 2014. It exports approximately 80% of its production to over 120 countries, supplying both small local businesses and large industrial companies. Its products include closures for mineral water bottles, jars of spreadable paste, household containers, and aluminum capsules for spirits.
