Features

Operating principle

Three principles govern most closures. Screwing applies controlled torque to install plastic screw caps. Crimping forms the aluminum cap onto the neck using threading and crimping dies, creating a tamper-evident ROPP-type closure. Push-in installation applies pressure to snap-on caps, corks, and stoppers.

Integration

The capping machine is fed with caps by an elevator, a guide, and a distributor. It can be used independently, on a conveyor, or as a single unit with the filling machine. The capping heads are interchangeable depending on the type of closure.
