Operating principle
Two major technologies coexist: layer palletizing, which prepares each row and then places the complete layer on the pallet, and robotic palletizing, where a multi-articulated robot or a cobot equipped with a gripper grabs the loads one by one or in groups.
Integration
Installed at the end of the line after bagging, case packing or bundling, the palletizer receives loads from the top or bottom and is accompanied by a dispenser of empty pallets, a magazine of dividers and, downstream, a shrink wrapper or a stretch wrapper.

Product-adapted gripper, interleaving, management of several palletization schemes (canvas), automatic format change, one or two load inputs, one or two pallet outputs, in-line or 90° output.

What is the difference between a layer palletizer and a robotic palletizer?
The layer palletizer forms a complete row and then deposits it in one piece, which is suitable for high speeds and regular patterns. The robotic palletizer picks up loads with a gripper, offering greater flexibility for varied formats and frequent changeovers.
How to choose a palletizer?
Depending on the type of load (bag, crate, bundle, bin, pack), the target rate, the weight and stability of the loads, the desired palletizing schemes and the available space at the end of the line.
What is a high or low arrival?
The top inlet brings the loads to the upper level of the palletizer; the bottom inlet feeds at ground level, which facilitates access and operator safety.
Can the palletizer also depalletize?
Yes. Many robotic cells perform palletizing and depalletizing with the same equipment.
Which products can be palletized?
Bags, crates and boxes, bundles, bins and lockers, as well as packs of bottles or cans, made of glass, PET or metal.
