Telemecanique Sensors designs and manufactures sensors and detectors for industrial automation and machine safety. Its portfolio covers the entire detection spectrum: inductive and capacitive proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, ultrasonic sensors, pressure sensors and switches, position and limit switches, machine safety systems, RFID sensors, and cloud-connected solutions. This breadth of offering is presented as unmatched in the market.

Originating from Telemecanique, founded in 1924 and inventor of the first bar contactor, the company established itself as a global specialist in industrial control and sensing. Integrated into Schneider Electric in 1988, its sensor business was acquired in 2023 by the Taiwanese group Yageo, which operates the brand under license. Present in over twenty countries and with more than seven hundred and fifty employees, it generated approximately two hundred and eighty million euros in revenue, with a majority share in North America and Europe.
