Sterixene designs and manufactures pulsed light and UV LED decontamination systems. Its equipment treats air, clear liquids, and surfaces, as well as food and pharmaceutical packaging, using a dry technology that requires no water or chemicals, achieving a high level of decontamination up to six log. Decontamination is instantaneous and integrates seamlessly into high-speed production lines. The company also develops a UV expertise laboratory and patented biological indicators.

Founded in 2018 in the Gard region of France by former Claranor employees, the company specializes in xenon pulsed light sterilization, particularly for eliminating Listeria and Salmonella. In 2020, it joined the German Dr. Hönle Group, a global leader in ultraviolet decontamination, complementing its product range with pulsed lamps. This acquisition frees it from market research in the packaging sector and allows it to focus on developing applications in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries. Its UV bioindicators received the 2023 Packaging Oscar.
