Partnering with manufacturers, the group selects and distributes a wide range of products for industry, building construction, and infrastructure: connectors and wiring, enclosures and cabinets, automation and control systems, sensors and safety components, motors and drives. It also supplies machine builders and industrial companies with electrical and automation components directly to production lines.

Sonepar, an independent family-owned group founded in northern France with roots dating back to 1867, employs 46,000 people and operates in some 40 countries under around 100 local brands. It achieved record revenues of €33.6 billion in 2025. Its strategy combines external growth, with 17 acquisitions planned for 2024, and digital transformation, driven by its Spark omnichannel platform and the automation of its distribution centers, to support the electrification of the economy.
