SEW-Usocome designs and manufactures drive and automation systems. Its product range includes geared motors, electric motors, industrial gearboxes, variable frequency drives and converters, components for decentralized installations, automation and control systems, as well as automated guided vehicles. These solutions ensure the smooth movement of machines and production lines, from airport logistics to the most demanding industrial processes.

The French subsidiary of the German family-owned SEW-Eurodrive group, the company has facilities in Alsace, specifically in Haguenau, Brumath, and Forbach, with five assembly and service centers in France. It employs approximately 2,300 people and generates over €500 million in revenue, exporting a significant portion of its production, including to the group's other assembly centers worldwide. The company has launched a major investment plan in Alsace, including the state-of-the-art Factory 5.0 in Brumath, which will employ 1,300 people by 2031.
