Mecapack designs, manufactures, and markets thermoforming and sealing machines for packaging. Its product range includes thermoformers for rigid and flexible films, high-speed tray sealers, case erectors, and case packers, with options for modified atmosphere packaging, vacuum and gas sealing, film wrapping, and skin packaging. These machines extend product shelf life and can be integrated into complete lines with destackers, dosers, marking, weighing, and labeling systems.

Founded in 1947, the company began by specializing in thermoforming for medical blisters, before expanding into sealing with the rise of mass retail and establishing its production facility in Les Herbiers, Vendée. Formerly known as Mecaplastic, it became Mecapack within the Proplast group. A specialist in primary packaging for over seventy-five years, it serves the food processing, catering, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and medical sectors, with subsidiaries in Spain, North Africa, and the United States, and a growing export market.
