Founded in 1979 in Eggelsberg, Austria, by Erwin Bernecker and Josef Rainer, the company became ABB's international center for machine and factory automation in 2017. On packaging lines, these technologies enable format changes without production stoppages and allow for scaling down from series production to single-unit batches.
