The shuttle's primary function is to transport pallets from point A to point B, following a linear path. Its advantage over conveyors lies in its ability to maintain complete freedom of movement for personnel and equipment in the surrounding area, as the zone is free of fixed obstacles. Compared to AGVs, it allows for covering long distances more quickly and at a lower cost.
Thimon primarily uses shuttles to connect its facilities to upstream production lines or to transport pallets to downstream storage/shipping areas. This is a standard module in our product range, which they then adapt to the customer's specific environment.
A wireless shuttle
The innovation lies primarily in the implementation of an inductive power supply, allowing the shuttle to be entirely wireless. This solution eliminates the constraints associated with the use of cables or contact pads. Eliminating these constraints improves reliability and extends service life.
