Analyzing big data from machines operating at customer sites has revealed significant opportunities for reducing energy consumption. For example, during breaks, line stoppages, etc., operators often don't think about or are unable to turn off the machines. These machines, equipped with servomotors, photocells, etc., consume a lot of energy even when they are stopped.
MOM has developed the Energy Saving by MOM module, which allows your machine to automatically switch into energy saving mode when it is not in use.
The first modules were installed in September 2022 on MOM machines operating in production. In the most interesting case, consumption was reduced by a factor of 19!
The MOM machines on display at its stand at ALL4PACK in Paris in November 2022 were equipped with its energy-saving module. Visitors were able to discuss their packaging projects with a century-old manufacturer committed to eco-design and controlling its energy impact.
